Part-Time | 2-3 days | Orange County, CA We are a patient-focused dental practice in Orange County seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. This role is ideal for a hygienist who is comfortable practicing independently and collaborating with the dentist to deliver consistent, long-term patient care. Our practice prioritizes professionalism and patient trust over speed or volume. Position Overview Part-time position to start (2–3 days per week), with opportunity to add days as the hygiene schedule grows Consistent hygiene appointment structure Collaborative exam flow with the dentist Organized, non–double-booked environment Focus on preventive and maintenance care Core Responsibilities Provide comprehensive preventive dental care, including: Adult prophylaxis Periodontal maintenance Periodontal assessments and documentation Perform digital radiographs and intraoral imaging as indicated Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting Educate patients on oral health, hygiene techniques, and preventive care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the practice management system Coordinate dentist exams during hygiene visits and communicate findings clearly Support recall scheduling and continuity of care Maintain operatory cleanliness and adhere to infection control protocols Qualifications Required Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license Current CPR certification Experience with digital radiography Strong documentation and organizational skills Professional communication and patient rapport Preferred Experience practicing independently in a clinical setting Comfort managing periodontal maintenance patients Experience in FFS or mixed FFS/PPO practices Familiarity with Dentrix or similar practice management systems Compensation $60 per hour (with consideration for experience and clinical fit) W-2 employment Part-time schedule initially with growth opportunity Paid sick leave in compliance with CA law 401(k) eligibility per plan guidelines Benefits Predictable scheduling Supportive, respectful clinical environment with clear expectations Opportunity for long-term stability and schedule growth How to Apply Please submit your resume.
