Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment areas with proper aseptic techniques, ensuring infection control standards are meticulously followed Take dental X-rays while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Manage medical documentation and records accurately within EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient evaluations Support front desk operations by handling dental receptionist duties when needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding to ensure precise communication and documentation Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to safeguard patient information and safety Experience with chairside assisting in general dentistry and specialized fields such as prosthodontics or endodontics Ability to operate dental equipment including 3D scanners, X-ray machines, and other medical imaging tools Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate documentation Excellent communication skills as a dental assistant and dental receptionist; capable of explaining procedures clearly to patients Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient workflow in busy clinical settings Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health and the ability to maintain aseptic technique during procedures Bilingual English and prefarably Spanish speaking Join us in delivering outstanding dental care by leveraging your skills in a vibrant environment that values professionalism, continuous learning, and compassionate service.
