Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and interpret dental radiographs (medical imaging) to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Assess patient vital signs and medical history to ensure safe and effective dental care delivery Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for young patients Maintain accurate medical records Follow infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient health information Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting Proven experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental office environments Proficiency with dental terminology, medical coding, and documentation review processes Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Strong patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal efficiency Mandarin speaking preferred, but not necessary Join us if youâre passionate about elevating patient experiences through compassionate care, technical expertise, and a proactive approach!
