Dental Assistant( seasonal/ part time/per diem) - Wellness Dental Care - Wethersfield, CT

Duties: MUST HAVE radiology and infection control LICENSE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALTERNATE SATURDAYS. Must have minimum 2 yrs of experience - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models Requirements: - Certification or license as a Dental Assistant - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry techniques and patient management - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages - Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care - Familiarity with medical coding systems for billing purposes Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
