Dental Assistant – General Dentistry Office (Independently Owned) Our general dentistry practice in West Hartford is seeking a reliable, personable dental assistant to join our team. We are hiring a full-time dental assistant and are looking for someone who takes pride in patient care and enjoys working in a calm, well-organized clinical environment. As of August 2026 hours will be Monday - Thursday 7:45 am-5 pm. No weekends Responsibilities: Welcome patients and help create a comfortable, professional experience Set up and break down operatories, including instrument sterilization and infection control Assist the dentist chairside during a range of general dentistry procedures, including: Composite restorations, Crown and bridge, Implant restorations, Dentures, Invisalign, Pediatric dentistry. Take digital dental radiographs and impressions or utilize an intraoral scanner Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and support efficient patient flow Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent DANB certification in radiation and infection control Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a clinical setting Dependable, self-motivated, and patient-focused Positive attitude and collaborative approach to teamwork About the Practice: We are a general dentistry office focused on providing high-quality care with a personal approach.
