Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support our orthodontist in delivering exceptional care to children every day. This role is ideal for a dental assistant who is comfortable working with kids, organized, and takes pride in creating accurate, consistent, and positive experiences for young patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during procedures including: Bracket bonding and debonding Archwire changes Color tie changes and adjustments Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and treatment rooms Take dental X-rays and diagnostic images as needed. Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Work collaboratively with the orthodontic and clinical team to ensure smooth, efficient workflow Qualifications: 2-4 year of dental assisting experience required Familiarity with Denticon or similar dental software is a plus Pediatric experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management Professional communication and chairside manner Expanded Functions Certificate preferred Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, not required Schedule: Monday– Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM Position Type: Full-time (36-40 hours/week) Compensation: Competitive, based on experience Perks & Benefits: Full medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, scrubs allowance to select your preferred style, and more To Apply Submit your resume to join our dedicated orthodontic team.
