RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) - - Manhattan, NY

Overview Tremendous opportunity to join a great team as a full or part-time dental hygienist in a long standing, fee-for-service practice. We just moving into a newly renovated office, and we are looking for an excellent hygienist to join us long term in a great working environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, and current dental conditions to ensure safe and effective treatment. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster lifelong healthy habits. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting procedures, observations using Eaglesoft. Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment that complies with HIPAA regulations. Uphold all aspects of infection control, including sterilization of instruments and proper disposal of biohazard materials. Training for GBT systems will be provided. Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental clinic or office setting. Previous experience with GBT systems is preferred Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is preferred. Must have 2 years of clinical experience outside of school. Prior experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry is advantageous.
