We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice while providing exceptional care to our patients. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for patients. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Take X-rays as needed, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis. Utilize 3D scanning technology to assist in creating dental impressions and models. Maintain accurate documentation, including patient histories and treatment plans. Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: Proficient in dental terminology, and anatomy knowledge. Experience with Open Dental (or similar) software for managing patient records is preferred. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Previous experience in a dental assisting role is preferred; but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within the field.
