We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our fast paced , growing dental practice. This is a key role in our office and requires someone who takes ownership, communicates confidently, and understands how to keep both patients and schedules running smoothly. ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Productivity · Schedule hygiene and treatment appointments strategically · Maintain a full and productive hygiene schedule · Fill cancellations and manage schedule openings efficiently · Maximize provider time and daily production · Schedule follow-up and continuing care appointments Insurance & Financial Coordination · Verify dental insurance benefits accurately · Determine patient portions based on coverage · Review accounts to identify insurance payment vs. patient responsibility · Understand dental billing codes · Assist with balancing insurance payments and account reconciliation · Explain treatment plans and financial arrangements to patients Patient Checkout & Communication · Collect payments in person and over the phone · Process credit card and check transactions · Answer phones professionally and efficiently · Respond to patient questions regarding treatment and billing · Ensure patients leave with clear next steps Software & Administrative · Eaglesoft knowledge required · Knowledge of PBN is a plus · Maintain organized and accurate patient records Qualifications Required · Minimum Dental office experience of 2 years is required · Strong understanding of dental insurance and billing codes · Basic accounting knowledge · Ability to confidently explain treatment plans and financial breakdowns · Punctual and reliable · Available MondayâFriday Preferred (Not Required) · Periodontal experience · Experience balancing insurance claims What Weâre Looking For · Always on time and dependable · Detail-oriented and financially accurate · Team player with a positive attitude · Strong communication skills · Comfortable handling financial conversations · Able to take initiative and go above and beyond We are a patient-focused and growth oriented practice that values professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
