Experienced Dental Receptionist - Silver State Smiles - Henderson, NV

About Us: We are a busy and welcoming dental office dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Our team is passionate about creating a positive and professional environment, and we’re looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join us at the front desk. Position Overview: The Front Desk / Check-In Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a crucial role in ensuring the office runs smoothly. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail. The candidate must be available to work full-time, including Saturdays. Patient Interaction: Greet and welcome patients with a warm, friendly demeanor. Check patients in and verify their information, including insurance and contact details. Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork. Scheduling & Coordination: Manage and confirm appointments. Ensure an efficient and organized schedule to optimize provider productivity. Handle cancellations, reschedules, and waitlist patients promptly. Insurance & Billing Support: Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at check-in. Provide basic information about treatment plans and payment options. General Administrative Duties: Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area. Communicate effectively with the back office to ensure seamless patient flow. Experience: Dental experience required (1yr minimum). Dentrix Enterprise knowledge is a plus. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, professional, and patient-focused personality. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
