Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Office Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression. Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Open Dental Verify insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring accurate billing and coding. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting payments and updating medical records. Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately. Review documentation for accuracy, including medical histories, treatment plans, and insurance forms. Maintain organized dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information management. Assist with insurance verification and claim submission Coordinate patient intake procedures and assist with front desk administrative support to ensure seamless clinic operations. Qualifications Prior experience working in a dental or medical office environment is highly preferred. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and office management software. Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and appointment scheduling. Experience with insurance verification A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy dental clinic setting.
