Duties Greet patients warmly, manage appointment scheduling, and handle all front desk operations with professionalism and enthusiasm Assist the dental team during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure smooth workflow Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control protocols following aseptic techniques Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to HIPAA regulations Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for accurate documentation of patient information Assist with vital signs measurement and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient assessments Support clinical procedures by understanding dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and assisting with prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry cases Qualifications Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic; familiarity with medical coding and records management is a plus Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely following radiation safety standards Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics Certification or training in chairside assisting or dental assisting is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential Join us in delivering exceptional dental care while building your career in a supportive and energetic environment.
