Dental Receptionist Myers Pediatric and Orthodontics Jacksonville, FL - BEACH Location Schedule: M-Th 7:40am to 5:15pm Compensation: $19 to $24 per hour, DOE Benefits: Medical, In-House Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick, and 401k (matching 4%) Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in delivering excellent patient care and smooth front-office operations. Responsibilities Answer and manage a multi-line phone system in a professional and courteous manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Present treatment plans and discuss financial options with patients Make outstanding treatment and follow-up calls Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, charting, and billing support Support the clinical and administrative team as needed Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental front office Experience with Dentrix practice management software Comfortable handling multi-phone systems Strong communication and customer service skills Knowledge of dental insurance plans and verification processes Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills Positive, professional demeanor Strong attention to detail Team-oriented with a patient-first mindset
