Job Summary Our growing dental office is looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Dental Assistant / Front office to join our team! We are committed to providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming and professional environment, and we are seeking someone who shares our dedication to excellent patient care. This position will be for; Monday's, Wednesday's, and every other Saturday's. Duties (Back office) Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Taking dental X-rays and intraoral photos. Maintain accurate patient records and charting. Maintain proper infection control and sterilization protocols. Must be able to prepare temporary dental crowns. Providing post-operative instructions to patients. Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and treatment rooms. (Front office) Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Answer phone calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments Collect payments and review treatment estimates Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Verify dental insurance and explain benefits to patients Requirements A minimum of 3 years of experience preferred Dental Assistant certification Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures X-Ray certification and coronal polishing certification required Knowledge of dental insurance and billing is a plus Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills & attention to detail Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix) is preferred Professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic If you are passionate about dentistry, enjoy helping patients, and want to be part of a great team, we would love to hear from you!
