Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Asheville, NC
## Job Summary Thomas Dental Care is seeking an energetic, kind, and friendly skilled Dental Assistant to become a member of our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide excellent patient care in a dynamic family oriented dental practice setting with competitive compensation and benefits. Hours M-Tues 8am-5pm, W 7am-5pm, Th 7am-2pm, Friday by appointment only, send resumes. ## Duties - Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures - Clean and prepare room for next patient - Prepare patients for dental procedures - Take digital dental radiographs - Maintain patient records and schedule appointments - Sterilize and organize dental instruments -Assist Dental Hygienist as needed - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Perform lab tasks ## Qualifications - Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting - Experience (2+years) in Pediatrics, Endodontics, removable and fixed Prosthodontics/Implants, and General dentistry preferred - Proficiency with 3D scanners and dental clinic systems - Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and medical coding - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -Eaglesoft experience preferred -Dental Radiography Certified required -CPR Certified required Join our team to enhance your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to the oral health of our patients.
