Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant with at least two years of experience to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including oral surgery, restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining strict aseptic techniques Take and develop dental X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring proper patient positioning and safety protocols Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic to document patient information accurately and efficiently Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures Provide comprehensive chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow efficiency Maintain infection control standards by adhering to HIPAA regulations and sterilization procedures Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and assisting the dental receptionist with patient communication Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions using clear dental terminology Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to medical imaging, X-ray safety, and infection prevention Experience Minimum of two years of experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for managing patient records and medical documentation Hands-on experience with dental X-ray procedures and digital imaging technology including 3D scanners Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols Experience supporting general dentistry procedures along with specialized fields such as oral surgery and endodontics is highly desirable Ability to perform vital signs assessments and assist with medical documentation accurately Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care!
