Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented hygiene assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our hygienist by managing various administrative and clinical tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in the documentation of dental records Support dental procedures through four-handed dentistry techniques Take dental imaging, including bitewings, periapicals, panoramics, and CBCTs for diagnostic purposes Document patient information accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are ready for use Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and appointments Skills Strong understanding dental terminology Experience with four-handed dentistry practices is preferred Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and equipment Experience in general dentistry is a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction Join our team as a hygiene assistant where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while growing your skills in a supportive environment.
