Dental Sterilization/ Hygiene Assistant - Birch Avenue Dental - Cottage Grove, OR

We are currently looking to hire a sterilization/ hygiene assistant to join our team! This is a great entry level opportunity to get into dentistry! The positions main focus is maintaining the patient flow through the office which includes, sterilizing rooms, sterilizing instruments, setting up and stocking rooms and assisting our hygienists. The ideal candidate will be naturally attention to detail, have the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and possess a professional demeanor and appearance. Responsibilities Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment Operate and maintain sterilization equipment (autoclave) Package and organize sterile instruments and trays Maintain sterilization logs and infection control records Assist with keeping the clinical area clean and organized Support the dental team as needed Qualifications Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures Willingness to learn and work in a team environment What We Offer Friendly and supportive work environment Training provided Opportunity to grow within the dental field This position is full time, Monday - Thursday from 8:00am- 5:00pm.
