Responsibilities (Not all listed) - Assist the dentist chairside during procedures. - Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. - Operate 3D scanner for imaging purposes. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace. - Follow aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. - Communicate effectively with the dental team. - Continuously update skills and knowledge in the field. Qualifications - EFDA certified - Radiology certification - Chairside assisting experience - Proficiency in dental terminology - Familiarity with 3D scanners - Knowledge of general dentistry practices - Understanding of medical terminology - Ability to assist in prosthodontics, surgical and endodontics procedures - Skilled in aseptic techniques - Basic anatomy knowledge - Familiarity with EMR systems and HIPAA regulations - Experience with DTX and Dentrix software - Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and X-Ray procedures - Ability to perform dental receptionist duties - Competent in four-handed dentistry techniques - Understanding of vital signs and medical imaging - Knowledge of Dentrix software and medical documentation - Experience with medical records and coding Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Employee discount On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Retirement plan Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Ability to Relocate: Eugene, OR 97405: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
