Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) ensuring proper technique and patient safety in compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage patient records using CURVE DENTAL ensuring accurate medical documentation and coding Monitor vital signs and medical history to support comprehensive patient assessments, especially in pediatric dentistry settings Provide dental education to patients about procedures, post-care instructions, and oral hygiene practices Qualifications Valid registration as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or certification in accordance with state requirements Proven experience in dental assisting within general dentistry or specialized fields such as prosthodontics or endodontics Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including 3D scanners and X-ray machines safely and effectively Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and medical documentation standards Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through compassionate care and technical excellence.
