Dental Hygienist (Part-time) - Mohr Smiles - Delphos, OH

Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take dental x-rays - Conduct patient assessments, including oral health screenings and medical history reviews - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed - Utilize Dentrix Skills: - Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
