Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health through expert diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education. Duties Perform thorough patient examinations, including oral assessments and medical history reviews using dental terminology and medical documentation standards. Diagnose dental conditions accurately through clinical evaluation and medical imaging techniques. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans encompassing general dentistry procedures such as dental restorations, prosthodontics, endodontics (root canal therapy), and dental extractions. Conduct oral surgeries with aseptic technique adherence while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Utilize digital dental fabrication techniques for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices as needed. Maintain meticulous medical records (all digital) in compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless delivery of patient care using aatient management platform. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties to enhance clinical expertise. Uphold high standards of infection control and safety procedures throughout all procedures and patient interactions. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice as a General Dentist in California. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in restorative care and cosmetic dental procedures. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques. Experience working with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred, but not required. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and infection control protocols. Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently to maximize patient comfort and clinical productivity. Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and education. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient privacy at all times.
