Experienced Dental Assistant (Certified/Registered) – Full Time - Philly Smiles - Philadelphia, PA

Overview Philly Smiles is a privately owned general dentistry practice located in the heart of Rittenhouse Square in Center City Philadelphia. Our office combines modern dental technology with a welcoming, team-oriented environment focused on providing excellent patient care. We are currently seeking a Highly Skilled Dental Assistant for a full-time role dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a friendly environment where your skills in chairside assisting, infection control, and dental procedures will make a meaningful difference. The ideal candidate is comfortable working chairside, and has experience with Invisalign, Cerec same-day crowns, and cosmetic cases. Someone that enjoys being part of a collaborative team and is eager to continue learning and growing in a modern dental practice. Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during general dentistry procedures Take digital radiographs in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations Prepare and break down operatories between patients Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols Assist with charting and treatment documentation in Dentrix Maintain clean and organized clinical and sterilization areas Support lab-related tasks as needed Provide excellent patient care and help ensure smooth daily operations Requirements Registered or Certified Dental Assistant (required) Pennsylvania Radiology (X-ray) certification (required) CPR certification Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred Experience with Dentrix software preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work Monday–Friday EFDA certification is a plus but not required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($24–$30 based on experience) Health insurance and vision insurance options Paid time off Opportunities for career development and advancement Training with modern dental technology Supportive and collaborative team environment Beautiful office located in vibrant Rittenhouse Square If you enjoy working in a positive, patient-focused environment and want to grow with a modern dental practice, we encourage you to apply.
