Dental Front Office Financial Coordinator Arvada, CO | Full-Time | MondayâFriday (No Weekends!) About the Role Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and patient care? We are looking for a dedicated Dental Front Office Financial Coordinator to be our practiceâs "Financial Guru." In this vital role, you will be the primary point of contact for patient check-in and all financial operations. You will act as the heartbeat of the front office, ensuring our schedule stays full, our insurance claims are clean, and our daily operations run smoothly from the morning huddle to the end-of-day deposit. Key Responsibilities Patient Experience & Scheduling Serve as the primary team member for patient check-in, creating a welcoming and organized first impression. Actively manage and fill open hygiene appointments 1 to 2 days out to maximize schedule efficiency. Manage the "ASAP" patient list during downtime to get patients in sooner. Promptly manage all patient communications, routinely checking and responding to emails, phone calls, and text messages. Financial & Insurance Management (Daily Must-Dos) Accurately post all daily payments, including both patient out-of-pocket and insurance payments. Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits at least one week in advance of their appointment. Proactively review, investigate, and resolve rejected, denied, and overdue insurance claims. Open all daily mail, ensuring every insurance payment is posted and strictly accounted for. Complete end-of-day financial reconciliations, including preparing the daily deposit slip. Daily Operations & Team Collaboration Morning Huddle: Start the day right by reviewing the daily schedule, attending the morning huddle, and prepping huddle notes for the following day. Workflow Management: Follow up promptly on items requiring Dr. Paylor's input and hand off necessary items before clocking out. Team Support: Consistently check in with teammates to offer support and ensure a smooth workflow across the office. Projects & Organization: Work on assigned weekly projects. Utilize downtime to scan and file paperwork, organize the front desk and lobby, and take out the trash (if half full) at the end of the day. What Weâre Looking For Prior dental front office experience is highly preferred. Strong understanding of dental insurance verification, claims processing, and EOBs. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize "Must-Do" tasks before moving on to extra projects. A proactive team player who doesn't wait to be told what to do, but utilizes downtime to improve the practice. Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone/text.
