Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. STERILIZATION DUTIES. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and any relevant information accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Manage patient records using Denticon or similar systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team on treatment plans involving prosthodontics and endodontics as needed. Operate 3D scanners for imaging when required. Experience Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable. Experience working with Orthodontics is a plus. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring is beneficial. Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Denticon. Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control standards is essential.
