Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cosmetic and general dental treatments, including dental restorations, veneers, whitening, and smile makeovers, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations, medical history reviews, and treatment planning aligned with patient goals. Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging tools such as digital X-rays and intraoral cameras to enhance diagnosis and treatment precision. Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols. Collaborate with team members on case planning, especially in complex procedures like dental implants, prosthodontics, or oral surgery. Uphold strict infection control standards using aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Engage in patient education by explaining treatment options clearly, fostering trust, and encouraging ongoing oral health maintenance. Skills Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and current clinical best practices. Experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and oral surgery procedures like extractions. Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to maximize efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately while providing professional guidance. Knowledge of infection control protocols and medical imaging techniques essential for safe practice operations. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of quality care.
