Our Practice: We accept PPO, FFS, and private pay patients; Medicaid and HMO insurances are not accepted at this time. Summary of the position: Currently hiring one RDA. Applicants should exhibit a great attitude, willingness to learn and participate, efficient, as well as be on-time and reliable. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program Registered Dental Assistant Certified to take dental radiographs Great written and verbal communication skills Current CPR Certification Nitrous Certification is preferred, but not required at time of hire ABILITY TO SPEAK, READ, AND WRITE SPANISH IS PREFERRED! Experience with Open Dental patient management software is preferred, but not required. Available to work early mornings, and late evenings as required by schedule. Providing excellent patient care. Recording relevant information in patient records. Taking radiographs (using NOMAD) and panoramic x-rays. Educating patients on oral hygiene. Providing post-operative instructions as directed by the doctor. Taking and pouring up impressions. Keeping track of back-office supplies and inventory. Help maintain and keep track of lab logs. Taking orthodontic records including but not limited to photographs, impressions, models and inputting them into designated chart. Willingness to cross-train and learn basic front desk skills. Participate in assigned office cleaning duties. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional appearance, which includes both attire and attitude. Punctual and willing to work assigned hours including occasional early mornings, late evenings. Any other duties assigned by supervisors.
