Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Take dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order as needed - Follow infection control protocols Experience: - Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology - Knowledge of infection control protocols - Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software - Understanding of dental anatomy and procedures - Ability to take accurate vital signs Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
