Dental Hygienist – Cosmetic Focused Job Description: Looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist, at a dynamic, cosmetic focused practice. *Part Time: MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS (Full schedule/Single booked to ensure quality patient care.) Compensation: Starting at $46 per hr. Responsibilities: -Prepare treatment room by adhering to protocols and procedures -Comfortable recommending fluoride to all patients for optimal cavity prevention -Proficient in impressions and radiology -Detect disease by examining gums, screening for oral cancer, and assessing levels of periodontal disease -Educate patients about good oral hygiene including plaque control and postoperative instructions -Administer anesthetics -Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications; Cosmetic and restorative familiarity preferred -Pre-qualify Invisalign consultations -Efficient/thorough Doctor hand-off and assessing oral healthcare needs Qualifications & Skills: -Preferred 1+ year of registered dental hygiene experience -Open Dental software experience (preferred) -Highly motivated self-starter -Patient relations/customer service oriented -Professional language/dental terminology Work Days/Hours: -Monday and Wednesday (Hours 7:45am-5:00pm; Closed for lunch daily between 1:00pm - 2:00pm) -Part-time position Education: -Bachelor of Applied Science: Dental Hygiene -Dental hygienist state license Certification: -Radiology (required/current) -BLS/CPR (required/current) -Maintain annual HIPAA, Infection Control, and OSHA training *Please submit resumes to parleyscreekdental@gmail.com (ATTN Dental Hygienist Applicant) Pay: From $46.00 per hour Work Location: In person
