Has exceptional organization skills Is knowledgeable of dentistry and dental terminology This full time position is 5 days a week. Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Fridays 8am-1pm. Job responsibilities: Assist chairside during all dental procedures Make and pour preliminary impressions for study models Expose dental x-rays Coronal polishing and application of fluoride treatments Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures Represent the practice in a professional manner Other functions include listening to and assessing patients’ needs, providing patient comfort, educating patients, and managing supplies. Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs is ideal. The position will also assist with greeting patients, answering phones and scheduling as needed. Other duties and tasks may be assigned periodically.
