Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans. Execute oral surgeries such as dental extractions and assist with complex procedures like root canal therapy and prosthodontics. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and document treatments in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness. Stay current with dental terminology, medical imaging, anatomy knowledge, and emerging best practices in dentistry. Qualifications Valid dental license to practice in the state of Washington or relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental office software Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and infection control protocols. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canals, and other complex procedures confidently. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and communication. Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a commitment to high-quality service delivery. Knowledge of dental fabrication techniques is a plus but not required.
