Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans Utilize dental terminology accurately while explaining procedures and oral health strategies to patients in an understandable manner Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Operate dental imaging equipment and apply aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards. DTX is the system our office uses. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and clinic efficiency Manage medical records diligently, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and follow-up care. Open Dental is the software we are currently using. Requirements Valid dental license with current state licensure for practicing dentistry full-time Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for charting and record keeping Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and medical imaging techniques Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and education Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly preferred This role offers the chance to grow professionally within a vibrant practice that values continuous learning and high-quality patient care.
