Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Orthodontist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, planning, and executing orthodontic treatments to improve patients’ dental alignment and overall oral health. Your expertise will help transform smiles while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments, including patient evaluation and treatment planning using advanced dental imaging technology. Design and implement customized orthodontic treatment plans utilizing braces, clear aligners, retainers, and other corrective appliances. Perform procedures such as dental extractions, oral surgery, and prosthodontics as needed to facilitate orthodontic corrections. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery to ensure holistic patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to ensure optimal outcomes. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures to guarantee patient safety. Stay current with advancements in orthodontics, dental terminology, and medical imaging technologies to enhance treatment effectiveness. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialization in orthodontics. Proven experience in dental office settings with a focus on orthodontic procedures; prior experience in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry is advantageous. Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and root canal therapy techniques. Familiarity with dental fabrication processes and the use of medical imaging equipment for accurate diagnosis. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly. Ability to perform dental extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics procedures, and utilize four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently.
