Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Eatontown, NJ
We are a professional, fun, patient oriented practice looking for a Dental assistant to join our team! Our goal is to provide high quality dental experiences in a relaxed environment. We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of dental experience, who can work in a team oriented atmosphere, pays attention to detail, has positive attitude and the desire to grow with our practice. Position Responsibilities: Greeting patients, making them feel welcomed and comfortable Cleans and prepares the operatory with appropriate instruments and material for scheduled treatment Assist the Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, recognizing the dentistâs need for instruments, materials, retraction, or suction. Assists in recording dental charts, dental findings, and treatment plans in the Dentrix Ascend software. Taking digital radiographs and intraoral scans (with radiograph license only) Manage infection control, prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment while adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures Requirements: X-Ray license required Certified Dental Assisting License preferred Current CPR certification preferred Excellent communication skills Good computer skills Excellent time management skills Well-organized, Punctual and reliable Willingness to learn Salary depends on experience.
