Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality dental care to patients. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise and excellent patient care skills. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - Set up and prepare equipment and instruments - Take and develop dental X-rays - Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies Skills: - Proficient in patient assessment - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy - Experience with X-Ray procedures - Ability to monitor vital signs during procedures - Knowledge of medical coding and documentation - Familiarity with dental receptionist duties - Understanding of HIPAA regulations - Skilled in aseptic techniques for infection control - Proficiency in Open Dental Software/Dental Software This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to the success of our dental practice.
