Bliss Pediatric Dentistry | San Carlos, CA Pay: $25–$38 per hour depending on experience and qualifications Bliss Pediatric Dentistry is a growing pediatric dental practice in San Carlos focused on creating calm, positive dental experiences for children and their families. We focus on building a supportive, organized environment for both our patients and our team . We are looking for a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a friendly, patient-centered practice. As a member of our early core team , you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, help shape how the office operates, and grow into greater responsibilities as the practice continues to expand. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures Prepare and maintain treatment rooms Take digital radiographs Perform coronal polishing and other preventive procedures Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients and parents Maintain sterilization and infection-control protocols Help create a welcoming and positive environment for children and families Support community outreach activities , such as occasional visits to local schools or daycares to promote children’s oral health Assist with basic front office support when needed , such as answering calls, helping schedule appointments, or supporting patient check-in Support other areas of the practice as needed to help ensure a smooth patient experience Contribute to building a positive team culture and helping develop efficient systems as the practice grows Qualifications California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or Dental Assistant with coronal polishing certification Ability to take digital X-rays Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor with children Strong teamwork and communication skills Pediatric experience is welcome but not required — we are happy to train the right person.
