Avon Orthodontics is hiring for a full time Orthodontic Assistant who is ready to be a team player, brings lots of energy, and loves dogs (yes, you read that right! We have an office dog!) Orthodontic experience is preferred, but not required. Ideal candidate would be a great team player, enthusiastic, detail oriented, communication skills, and is dependable. Radiology license is preferred. Daily job duties include: Building a lasting relationship with the patient and parent by caring for them during their orthodontic treatment, bonding fixed appliances, taking x-rays, photos, and scans, changing power chains, basic arch wire changes, checking oral hygiene, retainers, and appliances, cementing appliances, helping maintain sterilization, placing separators, and communicating care instructions to the patients and parents. Office Hours: Mondays and Thursdays: 7:00am - 4:30pm Tuesdays 8:00am - 4:30pm Wednesdays 8:00am - 2:30pm Occasional Fridays Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
