Job Summary Our pediatric dental office is seeking a caring, gentle, and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive dental care, including cleanings, assessments, and patient education, while helping children feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain oral health. Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow and patient comfort. Take and develop dental imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment plans tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support infection control standards by sterilizing instruments, managing medical records securely, and practicing proper dental terminology for clear communication. Experience Certification as a licensed Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations is required.
