We are currently seeking a Clinical Care Assistant to join our Montvale clinic , with the opportunity to support our new River Vale location as it opens. This role is designed for motivated individuals who may not yet have dental experience but are serious about learning, growing, and developing a long-term career in healthcare . Through structured training and hands-on experience , you will gain exposure to both the clinical and operational foundations of dentistry while working alongside a highly trained team. During the initial training period, team members will primarily work at our Montvale clinic , where they will receive structured training and become familiar with our clinical protocols. As the River Vale location begins operating, this role will transition to supporting both the Montvale and River Vale clinics as the new location continues to grow. Why Start with Bear Brook? Position Details Location: Montvale Clinic: 305 W Grand Avenue River Vale Clinic: 663 Westwood Avenue Schedule: Full-Time: Typically scheduled 5 days per week , with weekday shifts of approximately 8 hours , generally between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM . Team members are typically scheduled for approximately two Saturdays per month (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM) . When scheduled on a Saturday, one weekday off will be provided during the same week . What You’ll Do Assist dentists chairside during pediatric dental procedures Take and process digital and PSP radiographs Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies Support patient education and help create a positive experience for children and families Who This Role Is Great For This position is particularly well suited for: Recent graduates interested in pursuing careers in healthcare or dentistry Individuals considering dental, nursing, or medical school Professionals transitioning from hospitality or customer service fields Motivated individuals seeking hands-on experience in a structured healthcare environment This role is ideal for individuals who value responsibility, consistency, and professional growth. Who We’re Looking For While prior dental experience is not required, strong candidates typically demonstrate: A positive and professional attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to follow structured clinical protocols Reliability and a strong sense of ownership in their work Ability to learn quickly and perform consistently in a fast-paced clinical environment Genuine interest in working with children and families Due to the significant investment in training, a minimum one-year commitment is strongly preferred. Compensation & Qualifications Entry Level: $19 – $21 per hour Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ideal for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and committed to developing professional skills in a clinical healthcare environment. Intermediate Level: $21 – $24 per hour Requirements — any one of the following: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (healthcare, business, hospitality, communication, education, marketing, psychology) Medical or Clinical Assisting certification (dental radiology license strongly preferred) Minimum 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience 2+ years professional experience in hospitality, healthcare, or customer service, including 1+ year in a leadership role within the same organization Senior Level (Not currently hiring) : $25+ per hour Requirements: Medical or Clinical Assisting certification Dental radiology license (required) 2+ years Dental Assistant experience 1+ year supervisory or managerial role in a dental clinic All of the above qualifications are expected for candidates at the senior level.
