Assist dentists during various procedures Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed to protect patients from radiation exposure. Manage patient records efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) systems using Dentrix, including updating medical documentation and coding procedures accurately. Support infection control protocols by maintaining a sterile environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy, and following OSHA standards for safety. Skills Proficiency with dental software systems Dentrix for documentation, Experience with chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry to improve efficiency during treatments. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including 3D scanners and X-ray machines safely and effectively. Familiarity with infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and sterilization processes essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
