Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Sunnyside, NY
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant with a minimum of three years of clinical experience. This is a brand new practice in Sunnyside, Queens opening in the beginning of April. Lots of room to grow. The ideal candidate is proficient in Dentrix Ascend, highly organized, knows how to use intro oral scanner and able to support a wide range of dental procedures. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures including: Crown preparations Root canals Extractions Bone grafting Implant procedures Operate an intraoral scanner confidently and accurately Maintain a clean, sterile, and wellâorganized office Follow infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures Document treatment notes and update patient records in Dentrix Ascend Support smooth patient flow and efficient daily operations Qualifications Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend Experience assisting in general and surgical procedures Strong attention to detail; diligent, observant, and efficient Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work well in a fastâpaced clinical environment Please call 917-385-5408 -Daniel Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
