Orthodontic Clinical Assistant About Miller Orthodontics We're a growing orthodontic practice serving the Tampa Bay area with offices in Carrollwood and Apollo Beach (and soon Brandon!). The Role We need an experienced orthodontic assistant who can hit the ground running. You'll work directly with Dr. Miller handling the full scope of clinical responsibilities—from new patient records through debonds. We're looking for someone who already knows orthodontics and can keep our treatment flow efficient without compromising patient care. What You'll Do Take complete records (photos, x-rays, scans) for new patients and progress checks Assist chairside during exams, bond-ups, adjustment appointments, and debonds Place and remove wires, ligatures, elastics, and separators independently Tie in wires, place power chains, and handle routine adjustments under doctor supervision Sterilize and turn over treatment rooms efficiently between patients Manage patient questions and concerns professionally—you're often their first point of contact Maintain accurate, detailed chart notes in our practice management system (Greyfinch) Keep clinical inventory stocked and organized Help train and mentor newer team members as we grow What You Must Have Orthodontic assisting experience Proven ability to work independently chairside Strong knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, and procedures Excellent time management—able to keep appointments on schedule without rushing patients Why Work With Us Competitive pay reflecting your experience level Growth opportunity as we expand Supportive team culture Professional development opportunities Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Experience: Orthodontics: 1 year (Preferred) Language: Spanish (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Tampa, FL 33612 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
