The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting our dental professionals and ensuring efficient patient care. But we are willing to train the right candidate. EFDA with implant placement and restoration experience preferred but not required A passion for the dental industry. A passion for helping others. Open dental preferred but not required willing to train the right person **Responsibilities** - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental X-rays - Maintain accurate patient records - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols - Perform basic lab tasks, including sterilizing equipment and preparing materials - Schedule patient appointments and handle billing tasks **Requirements** - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role - Knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques - Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures - Ability to take vital signs and X-rays - Understanding of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus - Proficiency in using dental software - Strong anatomy knowledge for effective assistance during procedures - Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous Join our team at Z Family Dental and contribute to providing exceptional dental care to our valued patients.
