Position Overview: Our office is hiring for a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team! This position is heavily focused on patient care, instrument preparation and assisting during dental procedures. The Dental Assistant is instrumental in our goal to meet the high standards we set for patient experience and satisfaction. Pay Range: $18-22/hr based on experience Sign on Bonus: This position is eligible for a sign on bonus after 90 days of employment! Job Duties: Assist dentists during dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and sealant application Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety Greet and comfort patients, ensuring they feel calm and secure throughout their dental visit Take routine dental X-rays or as directed by the dentist Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care Accurately document patient records and treatment notes Maintain professional communication with the dental team, patients, and parents Excellent communication skills, especially with children and their parents We are looking for Ability to work well in a fast-paced, child-focused environment A compassionate, patient demeanor Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely Commitment to quality and excellence Positive, team-oriented personality Eager to learn and improve dental assisting skills A self-starter who takes initiative in their work Previous Dental Experience and certifications are a plus On the job training provided
