Job Overview We are seeking a passionate an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist with a strong background in periodontal care, including scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and patient education. Skilled in identifying and managing periodontal disease, taking diagnostic radiographs, and collaborating closely with the doctor to support comprehensive treatment plans. Known for delivering gentle, patient-centered care while maintaining efficiency. Duties Perform comprehensive periodontal charting and assessments Deliver scaling and root planing (SRP) and periodontal maintenance therapy Monitor disease progression and document clinical findings accurately Take and interpret dental radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and periodontal disease management Assist in co-diagnosis and case presentation with the doctor Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols Experience Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental clinic setting. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively. Basic knowledge of anatomy related to oral structures and medical imaging techniques.
