Advanced Smile Design is seeking a motivated, skilled Dental Assistant to join our modern, fully digital dental practice. Our practice is completely chartless and equipped with multiple intraoral scanners, CBCT 3D imaging, and fully digital systems. We provide a wide range of services in-house, including implant placement and restoration, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation, and comprehensive general dentistry. Position Overview The Dental Assistant will support the doctor during a wide variety of procedures while ensuring efficiency, patient comfort, and strict adherence to infection control standards. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and eager to expand their clinical knowledge. Responsibilities Chairside assisting for restorative, surgical, implant, endodontic, and prosthodontic procedures Assist with implant placement and surgical procedures Prepare and break down treatment rooms following proper infection control protocols Take digital radiographs and assist with CBCT imaging Assist with intraoral scanning and digital workflows Maintain accurate charting in a fully digital system Ensure patient comfort and provide clear communication during appointments Maintain organization and efficiency throughout the clinical day Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience preferred Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required (must hold appropriate Pennsylvania certification) Radiology certification required Strong understanding of infection control and aseptic techniques Experience with digital X-ray systems Ability to assist with advanced and surgical procedures Professional communication skills Strong attention to detail and team-oriented mindset Experience with implants and digital dentistry is strongly preferred.
