Dental Assistant – Prosthodontic Specialty Practice Location: Augusta, GA Position: Full- Time or Part- time Schedule: 8:00am-5pm Monday-Thursday, Fridays as needed We are a small, patient-centered prosthodontic practice seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in both the clinical setting with patients and in our in-house dental laboratory . The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Assist the prosthodontist during restorative, implant, and cosmetic procedures Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and impressions/scans Assist with crown, bridge, denture, and implant workflows Maintain accurate charting and patient records Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols Provide exceptional patient care and chairside support Assist with laboratory procedures including model work, case organization, and communication with the lab team Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure proper organization of cases and materials Support inventory management and supply organization Qualifications: Dental Assistant training or experience Experience in prosthodontics, restorative, or implant dentistry preferred (training provided for the right candidate) Familiarity with digital dentistry a plus (intraoral scanners, CAD/CAM, etc.) Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication and patient-care skills Professional, friendly, and team-oriented demeanor What We Offer: Supportive, close-knit specialty team Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity to gain advanced experience in prosthodontics Paid time off and paid holidays monthly health insurance stipend If you enjoy precision dentistry and value high-quality patient care, we would love to meet you.
