Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Westbury, NY
```Duties``` - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take digit X-rays - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Perform patient assessments and record medical histories - Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe dental environment ```Requirements``` - High school diploma or equivalent - Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix - Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures - Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is a plus - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to effectively communicate with patients and work well in a team environment - Knowledge of infection control protocols and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
