We are in search of an individual who is personable, friendly, detail-oriented, dependable, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a team environment. Our well-established practice is conveniently located near Regional Hospital in NE San Jose. Hours/Days : Mon and Wed 8:45 am – 6 pm Fri 7:45 am-5 pm possible Tu or Th 9-1 pm No weekends. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Assisting the doctor in all procedures Managing patient flow efficiently Preparing treatment rooms Sterilizing instruments Performing digital radiography (x-ray license required) Digitally entering treatment plans Educating patients Ordering and maintaining inventory Providing front office support as needed (answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting payments) Pouring up impressions, trimming models, making whitening trays The ideal candidate skills: Outstanding communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude Highly motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented Experience with Dentrix software is a plus Advanced computer literacy Coronal polishing certification Team player capable of explaining treatments and addressing patient questions Benefits: Paid holidays, vacation and sick leave 401k retirement plan dental benefits free easy parking Competitive salary and benefits for the right RDA/DA.
