Duties Assist during patient procedures, including bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance fittings, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency. Take dental X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining patient safety standards. Manage patient records using our orthodontic software ensuring accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history. Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices. Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing patient flow to optimize clinic productivity. Experience Minimum of 3 years of previous experience working in a orthodontic office. Proficiency in orthodontic terminology. Require an expanded functions certificate for the state of Florida. Knowledge of infection control practices and sterilization techniques for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
